In a report by Jhomer Apresto on Balitanghali this Thursday, a video showed a man seemingly out of gas or with a broken-down motorcycle, pushing it along Juan Luna Street.
However, the bike’s real owner, 22-year-old Justine Serrano, said he had parked it on Alvarado Street in Divisoria while delivering parcels to a nearby mall.
“Mga 50 minutes lang po simula pagdating ko nawala ‘yung motor ko. Alam ko inilipat lang gano'n. Tapos wala na po hanggang sa nagpa-review na po ako ng CCTV,” Serrano recounted.

According to police backtracking, the suspect was seen pushing the motorcycle from Alvarado to Juan Luna, apparently searching for a locksmith.
Serrano said the thief reached a shop along United Nations Avenue, but it was closed.
Eventually, he made it to San Andres Complex, where he successfully had a new key made.
CCTV footage from the shop showed the suspect parking the bike and convincing mechanics that his key was broken and he needed to deliver items. He was able to get a replacement key.
The suspect was last seen riding the stolen motorcycle near Buendia in Pasay City.
The incident has been reported to the Manila Police District (MPD), and authorities are actively tracking the man caught in the video.
Serrano hopes to recover the vehicle, noting, "mahigit na dalawang taon niya pa itong huhulugan."
