A report by 24 Oras of GMA Integrated News revealed new footage showing individuals entering the same drainage area where a woman previously went viral for emerging from a sewer.

While the GMA reporter on site was unable to catch the men exiting the culverts in real-time, a photographer managed to take pictures of the moment.

The men, when questioned, claimed they were only resting or escaping the heat and rain.

The report also highlighted the extent of the underground pathway. From Rufino Street, the drainage system stretches about 450 meters before exiting at a creek in Dela Rosa, Pio del Pilar—indicating that people can travel a significant distance underground.

Investigators also discovered that a portion of the cement directly beneath the metal drainage grill had been destroyed, possibly to allow access to the culverts.

This has raised red flags about the safety and security of public infrastructure.

In response, the Makati Philippine National Police (PNP) has called for immediate engineering intervention.

Authorities are urging the local government to reinforce the sewer system to prevent unauthorized access and potential hazards.

The unusual incidents have sparked both public curiosity and concern, prompting calls for stricter monitoring and repair of underground infrastructure to ensure public safety.
