They're now under the care of the authorities and the kids are undergoing counselling.

The crime was believed to have been committed on Wednesday midnight that's why the neighbors didn't notice what was happening inside the victims' home.

Stealing is being disregarded as a motive behind the crime, because the victims' money, cellphones, and personal belongings were still inside their home.

However, authorities are looking into personal issue such as anger towards the family, as the motive of the suspect/s.

"Ang business nitong mag-asawa is landscaping. So, we are looking into it kung may naka-kontrahan ba sila for the said incident. Kung may previous history ba sila sa mga na-kontrahan nila kung may kaalitan ba sila before sa tragic na incident," said Babaan.

According to the report, the authorities already have persons of interest.

"We are encouraging kung may information sila in regards to this incident o kahit ano na lead na lang sa investigation para ma-identify lang itong perpetrators, you are most welcome sa Malaybalay City Police Station," Babaan added.
