A Barangay Kagawad from Barangay Bagtas, Tanza, Cavite was shot and killed by suspects on a motorcycle.

Caught on camera, the victim was inside his car when the suspects drove up beside him and opened fire.

He was shot in the neck, and despite being rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention, he died two hours later.

Police authorities believe the crime was carefully planned by the suspects.

Police Senior Master Sergeant Israel Villela said the victim was tailed right from his house to the barangay hall.

The companions of the victim inside the vehicle, including 4 children, quickly stepped out of the car.

According to the interview of GMA 7's '24 Oras' with Villela, the victim was with his live-in partner and his 4 children.

Thankfully, none of the victim's family was injured in the shooting incident.

After the incident, the victim's vehicle stopped near the barangay hall. Other barangay officials helping the victim's companions were caught on camera.

The victim's family refused to give any statement about the incident, but they said they noticed people lurking near their house starting in March.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
