A 32-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly r@ping the 21-year-old live-in partner of his friend in Cainta, Rizal.

According to a report by ABS-CBN News, the incident occurred after the victim sought the suspect’s help in locating her partner, who had not returned home for three days.

Trusting the suspect's sincerity, the woman agreed to meet him at his residence.

However, instead of assisting her, the suspect allegedly took advantage of the situation and committed the assault within his home.

Authorities launched an investigation after the victim reported the incident, leading to the issuance of a warrant of arrest.

The suspect was subsequently apprehended and is currently detained at the Cainta Police Station.

In his defense, the suspect claims that the s&xual act was consensual. Despite his statement, legal proceedings will move forward to determine the truth behind the allegations.

The case highlights the importance of ensuring the safety of women, especially when seeking help in vulnerable situations.

The local police have urged the public to be cautious and report any incidents of abuse or suspicious behavior immediately.

Rensales, a stroke survivor, felt dizzy and collapsed shortly after casting his vote at Oas South Central Elementary School, ABS-CBN reported. His wife shared that he insisted on voting despite the heat and early crowd, believing his vote still mattered. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
