According to the sister-in-law of Cynthia Masongsong, Malia's mother immediately looked for her daughter after the NAIA incident happened.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Malia's aunt shared that the victim’s mother kept asking about her daughter.

She mentioned that Cynthia knew they were together when the incident occurred, which is why she kept wondering why her daughter wasn't in the hospital with her.

As an alibi, the victim's aunt said they told Cynthia that Malia was with her father.

Additionally, when the father would visit Malia's mom in the hospital, she would always tell her husband not to let Malia be by herself.

According to Malia's aunt, Cynthia told Danmark that their daughter wasn't used to being by herself, and that either one of them should be with her.

It can be recalled that the mother of the 4-year-old victim of the NAIA Terminal 1 tragedy already knew that her daughter had passed away.

Cynthia was with Malia when the incident happened, and she was also hospitalized. Reports said the mother of the deceased victim also sustained serious injuries.

Additionally, the Overseas Filipino Worker, father of the 5-year-old girl victim in the NAIA Terminal 1 incident yesterday, has no longer proceeded to leave the country. In a report by GMA 7's 'Unang Balita,' he and other family members went to a Pasay funeral facility where the initial processing of the deceased victims was made. The OFW father of the girl victim personally took his daughter's remains and will be bringing them to Lipa City, Batangas.
