The video shows a man wielding a bladed weapon, appearing to assault another individual wearing a cap.
Sion is currently in police custody, having admitted to arranging female companions for clients. He detailed an incident on February 22nd, where he was contacted to provide female companions for a group, which allegedly included Congressman Duterte.
Following this meeting, the group reportedly proceeded to a bar around 1:00 AM on February 23rd.
According to Sion’s account, Congressman Duterte allegedly became enraged upon discovering that one of his companions had not been provided with a companion.
The situation escalated when a dispute arose over payment for the women, leading to a confrontation. Sion claims he delayed coming forward to gather evidence of the alleged assault.
He asserts that his decision to file a complaint against Congressman Duterte was voluntary and coincidental to the timing of the election period.
Congressman Duterte has not yet issued a direct statement regarding the allegations. He has, however, stated that his legal team is currently investigating the authenticity of the video.
The DOJ is now in the process of reviewing the video and other evidence provided by Sion.
This incident has drawn significant public attention. The allegations of assault and the involvement of female companions have added a layer of controversy to the case.
Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the veracity of Sion’s claims and the circumstances surrounding the alleged altercation.
The investigation is also expected to look into the allegations made regarding the arrangements of the female companions.
