But amid the sorrow, one quiet, heartbreaking presence remains by Faustino’s side—his dog, Blue, who has not left the foot of his coffin since his passing, GMA News reported.

“Lagi siyang kasama ni Keo, kahit sa pagtulog,” said a family member. “Ngayon, hindi siya umaalis sa tabi ng kabaong.”
Faustino, 29, was the breadwinner of his family and a senior supervisor at a publishing house.
He was set to fly to Dubai that day for meetings with Filipino schools.
At around 8 a.m., he had just been dropped off when a speeding SUV struck him as he was retrieving a pushcart, reported ABS-CBN.
“Nagkagulo na, hinanap nila yung kaibigan nila. Nakita nila nasa ilalim na ng sasakyan, nakaipit,” recalled his uncle, Fernando Nicolas, who rushed to the scene.
Adding to their pain, the family claims he was not given immediate medical aid.
“Sana nabigyan man lang kaagad ng medical help para naisakay, nadala sa ospital, baka kasi nagkaroon ng chance na mabuhay,” said Nicolas.
