In a display of support and assistance, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) stepped in to facilitate the arrangements specifically for the young 5-year-old victim.

This intervention was crucial as both of the child’s parents are currently working overseas as overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

The agency’s involvement underscores the broader support network available to families of OFWs in times of crisis.

The circumstances surrounding the young girl’s presence at the airport paint a particularly poignant picture.

She was there to bid farewell to her father, who was scheduled to embark on a journey to the Czech Republic for work.

What was intended to be a moment of familial send-off tragically turned into the scene of a fatal accident.

Adding to the family’s grief, the child's mother, who was also injured in the incident, has undergone surgery to address abdominal injuries and is currently in recovery, supported by her mother-in-law, who was also among those injured in the SUV's impact.

Furthermore, the driver is slated to undergo inquest proceedings at the Pasay Prosecutor's Office.
