A 17-year-old mother and her 6-month-old baby were discovered dead inside their house.

The lifeless bodies, found in Brgy. Talogoy, Malita, Davao Occidental, were already in a state of decomposition.

Based on a report from GMA 7's '24 Oras' through GMA Regional TV, both victims had stab wounds on their neck and other parts of their bodies.

Authorities said the bodies were believed to have been dead for two to three days before they were found on Thursday morning.

The alleged suspect was the live-in partner of the 17-year-old mom, who was also the father of the 6-month-old baby.

They're looking into jealousy as the main motive for the crime.

"Last April 15, pinapatawag na po sila sa barangay kasi involving domestic violence. Palagi na po kasi silang nag-aaway. May mga incident na po na kailangan na pong mag-intervene ang barangay dahil palagi silang nagtatalo," said P/CAPT. JOSELITO CORTES SPOKESPERSON, DAVAO OCCIDENTAL PPO.

The alleged suspect is still at large.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
