A 20-year-old woman who had just given birth was tragically killed by her husband in Sta. Rita, Samar on Wednesday, April 30.

According to authorities, the suspect—a 31-year-old man—allegedly strangled his wife inside their home in Barangay Pagsulhugon.

The incident occurred just five days after the victim gave birth to their child.

The woman was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
