An online seller was caught on camera being assaulted by a buyer after delivering an order in Jaro District, Iloilo City.

The suspect also allegedly fled with the order without paying for it.
According to a report by John Sala on GMA Regional TV One Western Visayas on Monday, the seller, identified only as “Jude,” brought a hoodie jacket ordered by the suspect, “Yohanes,” to Barangay Tabuc Subâ on April 25, 2025.
The victim recounted that after the suspect inspected the product and confirmed there was no issue, he suddenly began punching him.

In the video footage, the victim is seen falling to the ground while being chased by the suspect.
After the assault, the suspect is seen walking away holding what appears to be clothing. Another man approaches and walks alongside him.
Jude said he did not personally know the suspect, and that it was the first time the latter had placed an order from him.
“Dinu-double check niya ang hoodie kung merong issue o wala tapos bigla niya akong sinuntok sa ulo. Nang natumba ako, finallow-up (follow up) niya pa ako ng maraming suntok. Hindi ko mabilang dahil nagko-cover ako ng aking ulo,” the victim recounted.
According to authorities, the suspect is a resident of Barangay Tabuc Suba but was not home when police visited.
"Sabi ng mga kaanak niya, nagtatrabaho. Wala naman kaming magawa kasi hindi naman mapasok ang bahay dahil hindi naman namin siya personal na nakita,” explained Police Major Eduardo Siacon, chief of Iloilo Police Station 9.
The victim sustained bruises and a lump from the attack and is determined to file charges.
The suspect may face complaints of slight physical injuries and theft for not paying for the order.
