- A doctor's car was robbed in broad daylight by a man in Mandaue, Cebu

- Based on the CCTV footage shared by GMA Regional TV, the man initially tried to peek into the car of the victim

- After having ascertained that no one was in the car, he immediately opened the driver's side, reached inside and allegedly took two mobile phones and a bag that contained medical devices

- All the while, the doctor was standing only a few meters away, buying something from a store

A doctor's car was brazenly robbed in broad daylight in Mandaue City, Cebu, shocking nearby residents and passersby.

The incident, caught on CCTV and shared by GMA Regional TV, shows a man casually approaching the parked vehicle and attempting to peek inside.

After confirming that no one was in the car, the suspect swiftly opened the driver's side door.

He was seen reaching inside and allegedly stealing two mobile phones and a bag containing essential medical devices.

Alarmingly, the doctor was just a few meters away at the time, buying something from a nearby store.

Despite the close proximity of the victim and the presence of other people in the area, the suspect acted quickly and without hesitation.

Moments after grabbing the valuables, he hopped onto a waiting motorcycle and sped away from the scene.

Local authorities responded promptly to the incident.

According to the Mandaue police, they have already identified the suspect and are now conducting to track him down.

Investigators are also examining additional CCTV footage in the vicinity to aid in the pursuit.

The incident has raised concerns about daytime crimes even in relatively busy areas.

Authorities are reminding the public to be extra cautious and to avoid leaving valuables inside their vehicles, even for a short period.

Meanwhile, the doctor, although shaken, is reportedly safe and cooperating with police for the speedy resolution of the case.

In a report by Gary De Leon of TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the family started getting threats after lending P1-M to one of the residents of their barangay; allegedly using the money for business.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school.
