A 61-year-old man died after being hit by a private vehicle along Magsaysay Avenue in Naga City.
According to a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas Weekend,' the victim was jogging when the incident occurred.
The senior citizen was declared dead on the spot, while another victim, a female jogger, is still recovering in the hospital.
Police authorities stated that the driver of the vehicle is a nursing student who allegedly fell asleep while driving.

The driver was already put in police custody and will be facing multiple legal charges.
