According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the victim was trapped in her room on the second floor of their residence and was unable to escape as flames quickly engulfed the house, ABS-CBN reported.
No other neighboring structures were affected by the blaze.
This incident was one of several fire-related emergencies that occurred over the weekend across the Philippines.
