The disturbing case has drawn public outrage as authorities investigate further into the extent of the abuse.
According to a report by ABS-CBN, the woman’s two other minor children were also rescued during the operation.
In addition, her five-year-old grandchild was removed from the household for their protection.

The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) reported that the illegal online transaction was uncovered after an Australian national, who was allegedly one of the woman’s clients, was arrested.
The arrest of the foreigner led authorities to track the suspect in the Philippines, ultimately leading to her apprehension.
Netizens have reacted strongly to the news, expressing their anger and disbelief at the mother’s actions.
One user commented, "jusmeng nanay yn binabalahura ang mga anak hnd ka mgtrabaho pra maitaguyod u ang anak u." Another wrote, "Grabeh nmn."
Many were especially horrified that a mother would exploit her own children.

A man at the roadside then signaled for him to stop, and when he did, he was shot by the perpetrator. The gunman immediately fled the scene, but authorities already have a person of interest.
