A male thief broke into a café in Baguio City at around 4:30 PM on April 09, 2025.

CCTV footage captured the man wearing dark clothing and a hoodie, appearing suspicious as he entered the café.

At one moment in the video, he even stared directly into the CCTV camera.

Shortly after stepping inside, he headed straight to the counter and snatched a bag.

In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' the bag belonged to a staff member of the café.

It contained a lost wallet of another customer, which the staff decided to keep just in case the owner comes back looking for it.

According to the staff named "ZEL," the customer who owned the wallet came in later in the evening of that day looking for the wallet.

Right at that moment, they checked their CCTV recordings and found out that her bag, where the wallet had already been stolen.

Apart from the customer's wallet, it also contained the key to the café, official receipts, and some important identification cards.

The incident was already reported to the barangay, and they're already working on determining who the thief was.

In another viral local report, a 51-year-old public teacher in Las Piñas City was stabbed multiple times by her own husband. According to the report of EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita,' the 38-year-old suspect committed the crime inside the school's faculty room. Police authorities said the school has a security guard, but being a familiar face in the school, the suspect managed to easily get in and out of the school. The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
