The lifeless body of the Belgian national was discovered by his Filipina wife. She was out of their house that night because they had a misunderstanding.

When she came home, she was puzzled because their back door was open. From there, she saw the bloodied body of her husband lying on the floor.

The alleged suspect was arrested in a hot-pursuit operation. However, he denied the allegations against him.

He said he would never do such a crime because the Belgian national was the godfather of their child and that he was friends with the victim.

Recovered from the crime scene was a long metal tube that was believed to have been used in hitting the Belgian national.

The alleged suspect is currently detained and will be charged with murder.

The suspect said he was there to talk to his wife and settle their misunderstanding, but unfortunately, it led to a big arguement.
