A man was captured on video lying face down on the roof of a house in Barangay 36, Caloocan City. The man had been el3ctrocuted.

According to the barangay administrator, who also served as a first responder, they heard a loud explosion from a transformer yesterday morning.
Shortly after, residents began shouting that a construction worker had fallen from the roof.
The 23-year-old victim may have accidentally come into contact with a high-tension wire, which was dangerously close to the house they were building.

Reports indicate that the victim was taking measurements on the fourth floor of the construction site when he was suddenly thrown off and fell onto the second floor of a neighboring house.
Residents in the area quickly worked together to retrieve him from the roof.
It took more than 20 minutes before Caloocan’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (DRRMD) arrived. Rescuers used a spine board to safely lower the victim and transport him to an ambulance.
The victim was initially in critical condition but is now reported to be stable, according to barangay officials.
The owner of the construction site has committed to covering his hospital expenses.
However, authorities discovered that the house under construction lacked a building permit.
Some residents had previously complained about falling debris from the site.

In other news, an elderly man died after he and his wife were ambushed while travelling aboard their pickup truck along a national highway in Buluan, Maguindanao del Sur. According to a report by GMA Regional TV News, the 77-year-old male died while his 66-year-old wife suffered injuries. Reports also state that the 77-year-old male was identified as a manager at an agri-machinery company. Investigators say that the two were tailed by motorcycle-riding gunmen and when they got to a certain, they opened fire, fatally injuring the 77-year-old male and inflicting injuries to his wife.
