The child’s mother was also inside the vehicle. Reports indicate that the suspect demanded to be taken to Laguna with his family to start a new life.

As the jeepney came to a stop, the suspect attempted to alight, but authorities managed to corner him, leading to the successful rescue of the child.

However, the ordeal left the family physically harmed—the mother was punched several times, while the father sustained a hack wound on his arm.

The child’s mother recounted that the suspect entered their room while she and her husband were with their two kids.

He then took the toddler, forcing the family to comply with his demands in an effort to keep the child unharmed.

Shockingly, the suspect turned out to be a childhood friend of the girl’s father, making the situation even more distressing.
