A tragic accident claimed the life of a 26-year-old working student early Saturday morning when her motorcycle collided with a pickup truck, GMA Regional TV reported.

The victim, a service crew member of a well-known fast food chain, was on her way to work when the incident occurred around 5 a.m.
Another female service crew, who was backriding on the motorcycle, sustained multiple fractures and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
She is currently recovering from her injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the motorcycle was declared dead on arrival.

According to the police investigation, the pickup truck was being driven by a 23-year-old bank teller who was heading home.
However, authorities revealed that the suspect allegedly counterflowed, leading to the fatal crash.
The suspect was arrested and has undergone inquest proceedings.
He is now facing multiple charges, including violations of the Anti-Drunk and Drug Driving Act, reckless imprudence resulting in h0micide, and reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property.
