A tense situation unfolded at Guihulngan National High School in Negros Oriental when a knife-wielding woman attempted to force her way into a classroom.

A video shared by Frontline captured the woman aggressively hitting the door with a knife, determined to enter.

Quick-thinking students immediately locked both doors of the classroom, with some even using tables as barriers to keep her out.

Meanwhile, their teacher attempted to calm the woman down by talking to her, but she defiantly responded.

Fortunately, no students or teachers were harmed during the incident.

However, concerns have been raised as the school administration revealed that this was not the first time the woman had entered the campus.

The school, which lacks a gate, has been struggling with security issues.

In response to the traumatic event, the school is planning to provide stress debriefing sessions for the students to help them cope with the experience.

Authorities have not yet disclosed any further details about the woman or her motives, but the incident has sparked renewed discussions about the need for stricter security measures in schools.

In a separate incident involving schools, a grade 8 student was allegedly assaulted by his teacher in Pototan, Iloilo and the whole incident was captured on camera.

The teacher pulled his hair and pointed her finger aggressively at him.
