“Sa ngayon officially, dalawa yung nasa police custody ng Police Regional Office 6 bilang opisyal na persons of interest para sa incident na ito,” Tuaño stated regarding the investigation into Michaela Mickova's death.

Medical examiners have determined that Mickova sustained “blunt force” trauma to the head, indicating she was struck with a hard object. Additionally, evidence suggests someone had carnal knowledge of her.

Mickova, who was vacationing in Boracay, was reported missing on March 10. Her body was discovered two days later in an abandoned chapel, with her lower body unclothed.

“We will leave no stone unturned until the perpetrators of this heinous crime against Michaela Mickova are brought to justice,” the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO 6) declared in a statement last week.

In a recent interview, Police Lieutenant Colonel Mar Joseph Ravelo, chief of the Malay Police, described the location of the abandoned chapel as secluded and mountainous.

Witnesses described Mickova as a friendly individual, according to Ravelo.
