The Philippine National Police (PNP) has released a video footage allegedly showing Ms. Honeylet Avanceña, the longtime partner of former President Rodrigo Duterte, supposedly striking a police officer during the implementation of an Interpol notice against the former leader.

Earlier, the PNP talked about a police officer who allegedly sustained a large lump after supposedly being hit with a cellphone by Rodrigo Duterte’s partner, Honeylet Avanceña. Avanceña purportedly hurt the police officer during the former president’s arrest. The Philippine National Police released photos showing the cop’s lump on the head, as well as a video capturing the commotion. As per ABS-CBN News, the PNP said it was planning to file a direct assault complaint against Avanceña.
In other news, Senator Bong Go was able to speak with former President Rodrigo Duterte via video call. Screenshots from their conversation were shared on the senator’s social media page. The video call took place before Duterte’s chartered flight to The Hague, Netherlands. It is worth noting that Duterte arrived at the International Criminal Court Detention Center in Scheveningen early Thursday morning.
