A viral TikTok video captured the eerie scene: an empty, fully decorated wedding hall followed by a sudden commotion when the bride and groom arrived—only for the couple to announce that the wedding would not proceed.
According to the event organizers, this was the first time they had allegedly been scammed by a bride.

The wedding coordinators reported that they had already spent approximately P500,000 on the preparations.
However, they also claimed that the bride had not provided any down payment for the event, raising suspicions about her intentions from the start.
Authorities were soon called to intervene, and as per Inquirer's latest report, the couple was last seen in police custody as investigations continued.
It remains unclear whether legal action will be taken against the bride or if the groom will pursue further complaints regarding the alleged use of a "love potion."
