According to a report from TV Patrol, the incident occurred early in the morning while the victim was walking to work.
The suspect had been waiting for her near a footbridge, where he forcibly took her to a secluded, grassy area.
There, he sexually assaulted her and stole her cellphone, wallet, and ATM card.

Despite the trauma, the victim bravely reported the incident to the police. Shockingly, while at the police precinct, she received a message from the suspect, demanding to meet up again. The suspect threatened to kill her child if she refused.
“Huwag daw po ako papasaway sa kanya, kasi nga nagmamakaawa na ako...” the victim recounted.
“Sabi niya po, makikipag-meet up daw po kami at magmo-motel daw po kami dahil hindi daw po siya satisfied sa ginawa niya. Pag di daw po ako pumunta, papatayin din daw niya po yung anak ko.”
This chilling message prompted authorities to set up an entrapment operation.
The suspect fell for the trap and was swiftly arrested upon arriving at the meeting location.
The victim positively identified him, ensuring that he would face justice.
