A serious road accident involving nine vehicles left 14 people injured on the National Highway in Sitio Palico, Barangay Luntal, Tuy, Batangas, according to GMA News.

The incident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. when a dump truck, which was loaded with soil, lost control.
The truck, traveling from Calaca City toward Cavite, caused a chain reaction involving multiple vehicles, resulting in injuries to several people.
Tuy Officer-In-Charge PMAJ. Broderick Noprada provided details about the accident, explaining that the driver of the dump truck failed to maintain control of the vehicle, leading to the multi-vehicle collision.

The severity of the crash forced the authorities to respond quickly, and the injured individuals were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.
The accident also caused a temporary traffic jam in the area.
However, the situation was resolved after a few hours, allowing traffic to flow more smoothly once the wreckage was cleared.
Despite the disruption, authorities were able to manage the situation efficiently.
