Taking to Instagram, Quest shared a video of himself on a street in Mandaluyong City, where he expressed his amazement at the chaotic overhead cables.

"Every time I see this, I just wonder how on earth does this work?" he said while pointing at the dense cluster of wires.

Despite the seemingly disorganized state of the infrastructure, he acknowledged that things still function.

"But since the lights stay on and the internet's working, this all must make sense to somebody," he remarked.

Quest went on to compare the sight to a massive serving of pasta. "Like one big bowl of spaghetti," he described, before questioning how anyone would be able to pinpoint a single faulty wire.

"Quite extraordinary how it all works. But it works!" he added.

Concerns over tangled and dangling cables are not new in the Philippines. In May 2024, Bulacan Representative Salvador Pleyto Sr. proposed a bill aimed at clearing streets of these hazardous wires to prevent accidents.

Meanwhile, Quest is currently in the country to film a documentary at the Masungi Georeserve in Rizal, a protected area known for its lush forests and conservation efforts.

His visit has drawn attention not only to the Philippines' natural wonders but also to its unique urban infrastructure.

News, photos or videos that arouse the interest of netizens would often go viral on social media, due to the attention netizens give them. These viral posts appeal to the emotions of netizens, and in rare cases, such could also happen to ordinary people, making them very relatable just about with everyone.
