The motorcycle was also extremely damaged because of the incident.

In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Tonight,' police authorities said that the motorcycle rider might be under the influence of alcohol.

Nobody was reported injured except the motorcycle rider himself.

In the Philippines, driving under the influence of alcohol is penalized under Republic Act No. 10586, known as the "Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013."

The law sets a BAC limit of 0.05% for non-professional drivers and strictly prohibits any alcohol consumption for drivers of trucks, buses, motorcycles, and public utility vehicles.

Penalties include fines, imprisonment, and license suspension or revocation, with professional drivers facing a lifetime ban even for a first offense.

Law enforcement officers conduct field sobriety tests, and refusal to comply can result in automatic penalties. Proposed amendments to the law aim to increase fines and jail terms, making it essential to stay updated on current regulations.
