A heartbreaking discovery was made in Mandaue City, Cebu, after a fetus was found wrapped in plastic and abandoned on the side of the road.

According to a report by GMA Regional TV on Balitanghali Tuesday, a local resident came across the fetus while on his way to the city hall.
The discovery was made near the Mandaue City Public Market, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the abandonment.
Initial assessments by the city’s social welfare services suggest that the fetus was approximately five months old.
