PNP-CIDG Director PMGen. Torre III filed a complaint with the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.
The complaint was against vlogger Jun Abines, who posted a photo of Torre and claimed that he had been hospitalized.
In a report by Arnold Clavio on 'Unang Balita,' Torre stated that the false information caused concern among his family and friends.
The Facebook post about Torre has since been deleted but Torre was able to get a screenshot of the said fake news and captioned it.

A search warrant was then released and served to Abines' home in Cebu by the ACG and CIDG.
Torre advised Abines to file a counter-affidavit against his complaints on him.

Police Major General Nicolas Deloso Torre III, born on March 11, 1970, is a seasoned Filipino police officer currently serving as the director of the Philippine National Police's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
