A homeless woman fell victim to a robbery carried out by two individuals in Barangay San Nicolas, Cebu City.

CCTV footage captured the culprits riding an e-tricycle, and suspiciously driving around the area.

One of the suspects parked the vehicle just a few feet away from the victim, then stepped down and sneaked up from behind to steal her bag.

They quickly fled the scene as the victim tried to chase after them, but she was unable to catch them as they successfully escaped.

In a report featured in GMA 7 on their GMA Integrated News YouTube channel, the stolen bag contained around P20,000.

The homeless woman reportedly saved that amount of money for 10 years.

According to the barangay captain, the woman was reportedly collecting garbage and selling scrap materials.

Meanwhile, the suspects left their getaway vehicle which they also stole according to the police authorities.

The suspects left the bag on the e-trike and was returned to the homeless woman but the money was nowhere to be found.

The homeless woman was alone in life, she has an old man as her companion, but they're not blood-related.

Meanwhile, the barangay offers additional help to the robbed woman.
