Naga City Mayor Son Legacion has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Dr. Rajean Monette Romualdez, a doctor at the Bicol Medical Center, whose lifeless body was found inside a parked vehicle in Monterey Village, Concepcion Pequeña.

In an official statement, Mayor Legacion confirmed that authorities received a report at 4:20 p.m., leading the personnel of Station 2 of the Naga City Police Office and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) from the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) to respond to the scene.

Dr. Romualdez was discovered with a gunshot wound to the head.

The mayor assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway, with Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) assisting in uncovering critical details surrounding the incident.
