Recognizing the potential, she took her business online, posting her offerings on online marketplaces.

The positive response fueled her ambition, leading her to create a dedicated Facebook page for her burgeoning business.

Hernandez's entrepreneurial spirit didn't stop there.

She transitioned from reselling to crafting her own unique sugar cookies, honing her skills and developing her own recipes.

It was during this creative process that the concept of photo cookies sparked.

Inspired by the popularity of photo cakes, she envisioned the same personalized touch on a smaller, more portable treat.

In 2022, what began as a side hustle blossomed into a full-time venture.

“Nakita ko before na nauso 'yung cakes na may photos. Sabi ko, ‘Why not ilagay ko kaya sa cookie? Try natin.’ Puwede naman pala siyang gawin,” Sabrina shared.

These delectable photo cookies are made using edible ink for printing the images onto edible wafer paper.

Hernandez's creations are priced between ₱28 and ₱35 per cookie, depending on size, offering a range of options for customers.

She also offers customized boxes, starting at ₱195, for those looking for a more elegant presentation.

Hernandez credits social media as a crucial ingredient in her recipe for success.

She effectively utilized these platforms not only to sell her products but also to promote her brand and engage with her growing customer base.

“Always give updates sa clients mo, na this one is available. They can just message us on Facebook,” she also said.

Her consistent engagement and strategic use of social media significantly expanded her market reach, turning local interest into widespread demand.

Beyond her savvy use of social media, Hernandez emphasizes the importance of understanding the risks involved in any business venture.

“Aside from making risk, also know kung ano 'yung risk na pinapasok mo. Pag-aralan mo 'yung negosyo na pinapasukan mo kasi hindi lahat ng negosyo is for everyone,” Sabrina said.
