Reynald and his wife once shared a happy life together until tragedy struck in 2022 when Rizalyn passed away due to blood cancer.
However, before she died, Reynald’s wife seemed to have chosen someone she believed would be the right person to take her place after she was gone.
She was referring to Rizalyn, a woman who had previously applied for work in Saudi Arabia through the travel agency where Reynald used to be employed.
"Asawa, 'pag mabiyudo ka, 'yun na lang ligawan mo," Reynald recalled, sharing the words of his late wife, who had encouraged him to court Rizalyn after her passing.

In a story featured by GMA 7's GMA Regional TV via 'State of the Nation,' Reynald eventually fell in love and courted Rizalyn.
The couple who is from Malasiqui, Pangasinan, will soon be married on March 11, 2025.
Their marriage was allowed by Reynald's children.

According to the police, the body was in fetal position, clothes were intact, but wounds were found on her body.
