E-bike rider na binusinahan, nagalit at minartilyo ang truck; suspek, nagtatago
- An e-bike rider is now on the run and is hiding from authorities after he struck a truck with a hammer
- Based on the report of GMA News, the e-bike swerved and overtook the bigger truck, which in turn resulted in the driver honking at him
- This did not sit well with the e-bike rider, hence, he took out a hammer and started hammering the truck

Authorities are searching for a man riding an e-bike who was caught on video in Quezon City hitting a truck with a hammer while on the road after allegedly getting angry when the driver of a larger vehicle honked his horn at him.

In a report by Mark Salazar on GMA News 24 Oras on Monday, the Quezon City Police District said it is investigating the incident that occurred on Friday on Sgt. Rivera Street, and the video went viral on social media.
“Nung tinanong natin itong victim [truck driver], sumingit itong e-bike, naunahan siya. Ang ginawa nitong truck driver binusinahan nang binusinahan. Nairita itong naka e-bike kaya hinarang siya doon, nagkaroon sila ng commotion,” said Police Lieutenant Gilbert Cruz, QCPD Police Station 1 Commander.
According to the truck driver, the e-bike rider also punched him before he could record the incident on camera.

The police have reportedly identified the e-bike rider but he is said to be hiding, along with his wife who was also there when the incident occurred.
“Na-identify natin. Ang problema nagtatago siya ngayon. Kinakausap namin ang magulang na lumutang para malaman natin yung side niya...Sumama, sinamahan ng asawa niya sa pagtatago.” said Cruz.
Cruz advised the public to exercise patience on the streets to avoid worse incidents.
