However, during the struggle, the suspects fired at the Taiwanese man's head using a toy gun.

In an interview by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas' with an eyewitness named Quennie Alvarez, she said the suspect grabbed the Taiwanese's phone

However, when they saw that the suspects were armed with a gun, they immediately moved away from the crime scene for their safety.

The victim was brought to the hospital after sustaining an injury on his head. He was away from harm, thankfully, because the suspects used a toy gun.

In a man-hunt operation, the suspects were arrested at a checkpoint. They reportedly tried to fight back against the arresting officers, but gladly, the police managed to take their weapons.

The two admitted the crime and said they were only using the gun as a scare tactic.

They will be charged with the violation of the election gun ban, illegal possession of firearms, and robbery snatching.
