Senior na kukuha sana ng police clearance, diretso sa kulungan matapos may madiskubre ang mga pulis
- A 67-year-old man was arrested in Angono, Rizal on Tuesday while he was trying to secure a police clearance for his profession as a taxi driver
- According to the authorities, allegedly, the man has a warrant of arrest for an attempted rape against a 16-year-old girl back in 2015
- As it turned out, the minor victim was the daughter of his friend whom, according to police, the suspect brought to a motel where he planned to commit the crime
- The girl reportedly fought for her safety and managed to escape

The incident was immediately reported to the police and an arrest warrant was then released against the suspect.
In a report by EJ Gomez in 'Unang Balita' of GMA 7, the suspect knew that the family of the girl filed a complaint against him but he didn't realize an arrest warrant was already released against him.
The senior citizen admitted he brought the 16-year-old girl to a motel but denied that he attempted to take advantage of her.
He also added they had a relationship.

He said he just caressed the girl's shoulder but she began shouting "Nire-rape mo 'ko! Nire-rape mo 'ko!"
But he also confessed, "Eh, may gagawin sana ako eh kaya lang hindi na natuloy. Eh, balak ko sanang umano, yung, makapag-isa. Isang job."
The senior suspect has already been detained in the custodial facility of Angono Municipal Police Station.
A police clearance is needed to get a job in the Philippines to show that you have no criminal record.
