A 16-year-old girl was shot dead by her 59-year-old suitor.

Based on the report of Frontline Pilipinas of News5, the two were actually together prior to the fatal shooting incident and that they allegedly had an argument.

CCTV footage shared by Frontline showed the victim even backriding on the motorcycle of the suspect.

Footage from the crime scene showed the two walking together when a gunshot was heard.

The girl also stumbled with the initial shot but the suspect shot her the second time around.

She sustained two gunshot wounds, one on the head, and the other on the body.

Authorities revealed that the underlying cause for the shooting was jealousy.

The family of the victim said that the girl and the suspect did not have a relationship but the latter was allegedly obsessed with the girl.

The victim's brother also said that the suspect allegedly wanted to have s#xual relations, which the victim refused.

She, her stepbrother, and other friends were drinking on July 2023, and she woke up from the heinous crime being committed by three men including her stepbrother. The other two suspects were first arrested by the police, and the victim's stepbrother was arrested after over a year.
