A video of a group of young people helping each other in order to rescue a pup that fell into the canal in Mandurriao, Iloilo City, has gone viral.

The video was shared by Renz Ejes via GMA Regional TV.

The video showed how the group showed the bayanihan spirit in effecting the rescue.

They made a human rope, with two of them going over the fence to go near the waters and reach for the pup.

Fortunately, the effort of the group paid off.

They were able to rescue the poor dog.
