- After 3 days of searching, two boys were found lifeless in Zamboanga Del Norte

- The brothers, age 5 and 6, were reportedly trapped inside a broken pick-up

- In a report by TV 5's 'Frontline Pilipinas,' an auto repair shop noticed the foul-smelling odor coming from where the pickup was

- To their surprise, the two boys were already in decomposition state

According to investigations, the mother of the two boys thought her children were in their grandmother's house.

Little did she know, the brothers were playing elsewhere. When they saw the broken pickup, the two decided to go on.

Since the vehicle was not working, the door locks started acting up when the brothers were already inside.

In a phone interview, police authorities said the boys tried breaking out from the vehicle but failed.

Memorial services are already being held for the two boys.

However, their mother was asking for financial help for the memorial service fees since she's already separated with her children's father.
