A 49-year-old male died after he was hit with a helmet on his head in Brgy. Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City, in an act of retaliation after the victim initially allegedly acted with violence towards the person who hit him with a helmet.

In the report of GMA Regional TV, two men went to the police station to report about the alleged violent acts of the victim towards them.
One of those who came to the station was actually the one who hit the victim with a helmet.
He narrated that they were in the area to bathe at sea, however, the victim suddenly went to them and started hitting them with a wood.
