Three people in a private car lost their lives in a road accident in Jaro, Iloilo.

According to a report by Pia Arcanghel in *SAKSI*, the victims had just attended the Dinagyang Festival.

While driving home, their driver attempted to overtake another vehicle.

Sadly, the car failed to return to the correct lane and was hit by an oncoming truck.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was safe but already arrested. He refused to give any comment about the accident.

In another viral local report, a businessman kidnapped in Quezon City was found dead in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. In an interview with 24-Oras, one of the suspects admitted the victim was strangled and had a cellophane wrapped around his face. Afterwards, the killed businessman was put inside a water drum, and buried in San Jose Del Monte. It's the same kidnap-slay crime committed against Ruby Rose Barrameda in 2007 and as it turned out, the alleged mastermind behind the two crimes was believed to be the same person.
