The mother of the viral "sampaguita girl" faced the DSWD after the latter went to their home.
She was asked what her needs are for her family and she said that she just wanted her daughter to finish studying.
She also explained that she does not have any work and so her daughter would sell in order to help for her schooling.
"Yung anak ko nagawa niya magtinda, gusto ko pa ring makatapos," she said.

"Wala naman akong maibigay, bahala kayo kung ano gusto niyong gawin," she added.
