A man was arrested after he stole the crown that belongs to a statue of Mama Mary from a church in Mabalacat City.

The man not only stole the crown, but also took the chalice, several gadgets belonging to the church, as well as the money inside the donation boxes.

Based on the report of GMA Regional TV, the man said that Mama Mary tasked him to do what he did.

He also admitted to using the chalice for alcoholic drinks.

It was also found that he already had previous records.
