A 32-year-old farmer lost his life after being swept away by the strong river current.
The tragic event took place in Barangay Malabog, Paquibato District, Davao City.
In a report in TV Patrol, authorities said the farmer tried to cross the rushing river to rescue his horse.
His body was found the next day after search and rescue teams conducted operations to locate him.
