An 84-year-old grandmother, Lolit$ Licuan, was brought to the hospital after her son-in-law, 55-eyar-old Ignacio Tribunalo, allegedly doused her in gasoline and lit her up.

Based on CDN, the incident happened at the home of the old woman in Brgy. Bolinawan.

The 11-year-old grandson of the woman said that the suspect barged in while she was doing the laundry.

The suspect, known to be abusive towards his wife, the daughter of the victim, was looking for his wife but the victim refused to answer.

It was then that an argument ensued, where the suspect then grabbed a plastic of gasoline, doused the victim and set her on fire.

Fortunately, neighbors helped her and brought her to the hospital.

The suspect is already in the custody of police officers.
