- A 24-year-old woman died on the spot after ramming into a parked truck in Manila

- According to reports, the victim was on her way home, and one of the back rides of a motorcycle rider

- In an interview with 24 Oras, the live-in partner of the victim said his partner went out to attend a birthday of her auntie

- However, the 24-year-old victim and another female friend went out for an after-party where the motorcycle rider offered them a ride home

Prior to the incident, two male strangers asked the two women if they could join them, but they refused.

Another man asked the girls if he could join them, and at that time, they agreed.

While waiting for a ride home, the same man approached them and offered them a ride. On their way, they noticed another motorcycle tailing them.

This scared one of the girls, prompting her to jump off the motorcycle. The unknown suspects still continued tailing them.

One of the men shot the motorcycle driver and hit him on his left shoulder.

The rider lost the balance of the motorcycle, resulting in them falling to the ground. Little did they know, a truck was parked nearby where the deceased victim crashed into.

The relatives of the victim believed the motorcycle rider was the real target of the suspects.

Police reportedly told the victim's family although the investigation is still ongoing, they already have persons of interest.

The SUV driver admitted he fell asleep because of exhaustion, he will be facing multiple complaints because of the incident.
