A video of a fire that enveloped a Christmas tree in a local mall in Antipolo has been making its rounds on social media recently.

On Friday, January 3, a certain Facebook user, Rey Espadero, took to his account to upload a video of a fire inside a mall in Antipolo.

In the now-viral video on Facebook, flames were spotted engulfing the beautiful red-themed Christmas tree, with smoke rising.

Despite the incident, many staff members acted quickly as they grabbed the nearest fire extinguisher to remove the flames.

Following this viral video online, Robinsons Antipolo released a statement about the incident on their official account on Facebook.

"An isolated fire incident occurred in a small area of the mall. The fire was immediately put out and safety checkes were conducted by our Emergency Response Team together with the Bureau of Fire Protection. The rest of the mall is not affected," Robinsons Antipolo told their followers.
