A body of a woman, chopped, was found among the wood used for making charcoal in San Juan, Batangas, ABS-CBN reported.

The one who reported the existence of the body was a couple, who turned out to be living in the same barangay with that of the 32-year-old victim, and who owned the charcoal-making area.

Further investigation, showed the victim was a witness to a shooting incident involving the couple.

Authorities are making further investigation into the incident.

According to a report by GMA News, a gravedigger reportedly noticed the coffin lying outside of its grave a day after getting buried. When they checked the woman inside, she was no longer wearing undergarments, and her upper dress was lifted up.
